Mobile Detailing Is Simple — With a Little Prep
The whole point of mobile detailing is convenience: we come to your home or office and you carry on with your day. You don't need to do much to get ready. But a few small steps make the appointment smoother and the results better.
What You Don't Need to Worry About
Let's start with the good news. You don't need to provide:
- •Water — we bring our own water supply
- •Power — we bring our own power equipment
- •Products or tools — everything comes with us
You also don't need to be with the car the whole time. As long as we can access the vehicle, you're free to work, run errands, or relax.
Before We Arrive
1. Clear out personal items.
Remove valuables, loose papers, gym bags, chargers, and anything in the seat pockets, door pockets, console, and trunk. It lets us clean every surface — and means nothing of yours gets moved or misplaced.
2. Take out car seats if you'd like them cleaned around.
Child car seats are safety equipment, so we recommend removing and reinstalling them yourself. If they're out, we can clean the seats and carpet underneath.
3. Pick the right spot.
- •A driveway, garage, or parking space with room to open all the doors and walk around the car
- •Shade is ideal, especially in summer — washing in full LA sun makes water spot faster
- •For ceramic coating, a covered or shaded area is best, since the coating needs a clean, dry surface to cure
4. Check building or HOA rules.
If you live in an apartment, condo, or office building, make sure mobile services are allowed in your parking area, and let us know about gate codes, parking passes, or garage height limits.
5. Leave the keys accessible.
If you won't be there, arrange a safe way for us to get the keys — or leave the car unlocked if it's in a secure spot.
6. Tell us about problem areas.
Stains, odors, a sticky spill, a scratch you're worried about — mention it when you book or when we arrive, so we can give it extra attention.
During the Appointment
Most details take between about 1.5 and 6 hours depending on the package and vehicle size — a Basic coupe detail is quickest, a Gold SUV detail the longest. Ceramic coating takes longer. Feel free to check in along the way, or just come back when it's done.
After the Detail
Do a quick walk-around with us. If you've had a sealant or coating applied, follow the aftercare instructions — especially the first-week rules for ceramic coating.
